Overview
The institute of technical/Kufa was established in 1980
and its goals are to train technical manpower in different
scientific specialties which provide an active role in the
different services because they act as link between higher
links in the technical fields.
The number of teaching staff in the institute are (79) who have different
specialties.
The number of technicians are (183) the management staff are (55)
The number of students are (1008).

The character of study in the institute practical and applied subject
70% of weekly teaching hours where the students are involve during
there applied subject in different lab and developed workshop .As well
as the practical training in different fields to provides the student with
the necessary scientific expertise and efficiency at the field work
The syllabus of the subjects as been over reviewed in order to modernize
subject.The institute provide a degree of technical diploma according to
specialty involved.
Institute possess libratory, closed building for sport, stage ,students
restaurant ,teaching classes , lab. ,workshop and other serving buildings.
There are poultry farm, slaughter and field farms There are wide
prospects for the high grades graduates of the institute to pursue there
high education where its allowed 10% of the highest grades in each Dept
of the institute to be accepted in the Iraq university to continue there
higher education in the same specialties that they have acquired.
