Clinical Pathology Department
1. Department of pharmacy was established in the academic year 1987-1988.
2.The number of graduates each year range between 80-100.
3. Inceptor granted the title of diploma \assistant pharmacist.
4. Graduate will be appointed in health institution .
5.Graduate has the ability and skill to dispense medicines , medical supplies and
given it to patients under the supervision of the pharmacist in charge .
6. Bookkeeping special daily and monthly spending for medicines and medical supplies .
7. Accepts 10% of graduates in pharmacy colleges .
8. Since the establishing department and so far the work of teaching staff holding
doctorates and master's and bachelor of science titles has supervised some of
them to graduate students .
Nursing departmen was established at 1997-1998.The main goal for the
department is to rehablitate and graduate specialized technical nurse staff
ready for working in the primary health care centers ,general hospitals and
drug manufacturing companies in the countery.Beside that the student
recieves a comprehensive sciences in medical and surgicalnursing procedures,
anatomy,biochemistry ,biology ,pharmacology during two years of the study.
Pharmacy Department
The department of clinical pathology was established in 1984 ,it include five lecturers
with Ph.D. and four with MSc degree with different specialties in basic medical sciences
and clinical pathology branches like bacteriology , parasitology ,histology ,haematolegy ,
biochemistry ,pathology and others
The attended students can do different laboratory analysis and will work at the main
hospitals and clinical for two years,
Then they will distributed to primary
health centers and central
laboratories ,according to
the medical law .The first
10% of the attended student
have the opportunity to
complete their higher
study in the collage in different
specialties .
Community Health Department was founded in 1989. this department gives technical diploma in the techniques of community health. Graduates can work in health centers and public hospitals. ten percent of the graduates can complete their studies for a bachelor's degree in the faculties of medical technologies. Graduates also work in the areas of occupational health and safety
