The department was established in 1987-1988 .The goals of electrical networks branch are
to graduate qualified technical cadres to carry out the operation and maintenance
units in electrical generating plants and power transmission and maintenance and
repair services prevention and control systems , as well as the student able to diagnose
breakdowns and repair of electric motors and electrical foundation for the houses and
buildings
The department of mechanic was established in 1983.It includes eight lecturers
specialized with various mechanical engineering and prodection subjects.
The sum of credits are 77 given in two years study duration.The number of credits
given in the first year are 38 while 39 credits are given on the second year.
The goals of production branch are to highly quality the attending students so
they can be able to run :-
1- Various machine of mechanical processes such as (lathe ,milling ,planing ,
drilling ,.........etc) and maintenance .
2-The quality control and work studies
The goals of the outomobile branch are to highly quality the attending students
in order to join between the speciality and the skilled workers.
this can be achived by providing the graduate student with the theoritical and
technical knowledge so they can be able to perform the following tasks:-
1- The ability to detect the car mechanical and electrical failurs .
2- Perform periodicaly maintenance for diesel and casoline cars.
3- The ability to run the car maintenance and service stations.
